Report: Danone's Russian assets valued at 250 mln euros

PARIS, Jul 20 (PRIME) -- The Russian assets of France's dairy product maker Danone that passed into the property of the Federal State Property Management Agency are valued at 250 million euros, radio Europe 1 said on Thursday.

"The company’s Russian operations used to produce a billion euros in revenue until 2022, which accounted for 6% of its total turnover… The company’s Russian assets are valued at 250 million euros," the radio reported.

On July 17, President Vladimir Putin signed an order transferring stakes in Danone Russia and beer brewery Baltika into temporary management of the Federal State Property Management Agency from the foreign companies. Yakub Zakriyev, deputy prime minister and agriculture minister of the republic of Chechnya, was appointed as Danone's CEO.
